More thorough: DB is more thorough in the sense that it hits all muscle groups whereas RM has little/no upper body work besides what is involved in sun salutations. On the other hand, RM has a better balance of toning and stretch as well as small isolations and large range of movement.

Funner: To me RM is definitely more fun. The music is better, the mood is light and you are constantly changing up between yoga, barre and pilates so time flies.

More intense: DB is more intense because it uses only tiny isometric moves and has lots of reps so it works the muscles to failure. Still, the lower body floor work on RM is quite challenging (Grace is the queen of floor work).

For me it's hard to say which is "better" and I think they are very complementary - i.e., you should get both

I don't think I'm helping you here. I love RM for exactly what Fuzzie said. I've just ordered DB for exactly what Fuzzie said. So I think at the end of the day you need both.
PS your shrinking bank account is also Fuzzie's fault.

HAHA! Thanks Fuzzie, I went fo DM for now. RM sounds good but I don't enjoy yoga to much.Hopefully it's not to much a few poses & stretches don't bother me.

I keep asking and feel dumb, but what is dancers body? It's the "buzz" around here, and I keep trying to look it up, and have no idea what work out you guys are talking about.

And where do you buy this dvd? I still can't find anything on it when I search for "The Bar Method dancer's body"
