Do these shorts even exist????

I have been searching online for a pair of loose, fitness shorts that I can wear for walking the dogs, at home, and a quick run to the grocery store during hot summers. My only requirements are:
1. At least a 7" inseam
2. A pocket or two. (to hold dog treats)

I think they're impossible to find! I've looked at Nike, Adidas, UA, Brooks. The only thing that comes close is Title Nine Anti-Running Shorts Shorts And I'm not crazy about the colors.

Any suggestions for others? Thanks!

Lands' End Sport Knit Shorts

Lexy,

If you want cotton, I like these shorts for running around.

Those actually look good for getting muddy on the trails! Or to the store. I also want something that is "heat gear" for our really hot weather in NC and FL. I ordered a pair from Adidas and the description was wrong. They advertised them as 10" inseam and it was 5. Hello? At least they sent me a prepaid label to send them back.

I don't know about the shorts, but I have been looking at skorts (like this one) to walk the dog and run errands. (I see LL Bean also has some shorts that look like the ones Cynthia posted.)

Maybe the New Balance Stride Shorts at nbwebexpress.com?
Or the Bermuda shorts at Hanes.com?

Campmor.com has shorts and skorts that might fit you. Er, might fit your requirements.

Campmor has some things that might work. Thanks! I'd love to wear a skort but the compression pants would make me crazy. For the heat of the summer, I want light and loose.

I was thinking of something that looked like athletic long shorts. It seems I'll have to do without the pockets and get something like this: UA shorts Really love me some pockets though.

We can get mighty dirty on the trails after a rain and I don't want something expensive cuz it'll end up stained with red, clay mud.

Oldnavy.com has 7" shorts. They are not fitness shorts per se, but they are certainly comfortable enough and suitable for dog walking and errands.

Sierra Trading Post often has all sorts of shorts, too.

The other thing that occurs to me--men's shorts! Fitness shorts designed for men are more likely to have pockets and tend to be long.

This was going to be my suggestion as well.
