I've had mixed experiences in Gamestop retail stores (it mainly depends on the individual clerk) but their website did a good job of fixing a recent screwup.

I ordered used copies of DDR Hottest Party 3 and DDR X2, the latest releases for Wii and PS2. They sent HP3, but instead of X2, they sent Extreme2, an older game that I already have. When I called their 800 number, a very nice woman apologized, said they would send out X2 right away - and I could keep the copy of Extreme2 instead of sending it back. I received X2 a couple days later.

Granted, it probably would have cost them more to have it returned than the game is worth, but still, I'm impressed with their hassle-free service

And with a discount code, I got both games for a total of around $40 shipped

I really like Gamestop. Our local shop has some really good clerks who I trust to steer me and my children in the right direction. They know their stuff and give us an honest review of games instead of just encouraging you to buy anything.
