FAQ: how do I get one of those pictures under my name on my posts?

NOTE: These instructions are different with the new version of the software!

If you are a VF supporter, you can upload an avatar to VF for use in the forum. Click on the "My VF" link in the toolbar, then on Edit Avatar. Follow the instructions to upload. Please note the image size limit--if you have difficulty getting your image to fit the file size or dimension limitations, email the image to me at wendy@videofitness.com and I will help.

Hi Wendy -- I've been trying to get a photo up on mine with MSN photo then with Geocities and it lets me do it for awhile (MSN for about a day & Geocities for just one post, then it's gone when I post next), then has that little "X" in the box.

Do you think they have a limit on the remote linking or am I doing something wrong?

I suspect a remote linking limit or prohibition. Since you're a VF supporter, you can email me your photo and I'll host it in VF space.

Hi,

I'm trying to add an avatar which is saved on my computer, but I'm getting an error message saying that it needs to be changed to a gif. Help?? :rolleyes:

When I go to edit,there is a black button already there and there is no option to upload a photo? where do you do this at.
