Websites with fitness routines
In another thread, I mentioned that I do a lot of searching for fitness rotations, and I've found several free sites that offer at least a few different workout programs. Many of them are known to the VF community--I probably found a lot of them on this forum. I thought maybe we could compile lists of sites that we like to visit, not necessarily blogs we follow, but sites that often have rotations.
I think most of the fitness magazines post at least some of their workouts online. Right now I like men's health, which has a rotation devoted to Power Training (dos Remedios) and the Spartacus Workout (by Rachel Cosgrove) and several flavors of Belly Off. Magazine sites: www.menshealth.com Muscle and Fitness www.womenshealthmag.com www.prevention.com www.shape.com www.self.com www.oxygenmag.com Other sites: www.tmuscle.com shahtraining.com (has some interval workouts and metabolic type circuits) joshsgarage.typepad.com/ www.hotnfit.com www.fitsugar.com www.freeworkoutsguide.com www.ronjones.org (mostly prehab) www.bodybuilding.net www.mikmahler.com (within articles I think) www.mrlowbodyfat.com (you have to search around) www.bodybuilding.com www.nowloss.com www.skwigg.com www.stumptuous.com and, of course, www.bodyrock.tv What sites do you peruse?

Thanks for the links!
I just found www.kiana.com www.fitmomtv.com Both are Kiana Toms site and have some workouts for home listed. The main Kiana.com site is getting a makeover but the fitmom site is still on.

I keep losing my posts ....
OK, I've spent many hours over the past few years perusing the CF affiliates for WODs to follow. Some of my favorites: http://thecellfitness.com.au/ [often includes kettlebells, Steve Cotter hosted a seminar there; also includes specific strength work most days] http://www.crossfitoneworld.typepad.com/ [typical CF; usually 20-minute metcons] http://crossfitjerseyshore.typepad.c.../01/index.html [all kettlebell circuits; this has become a members-only site but the archives are still available for free] http://www.crossfitunlimited.com/ [CF WODs easily scalable for us mere mortals] |
