What size med balls?

I know there have been other threads about this, and I've looked at them but I would like to re-survey the group. I want to make a purchase of the soft-grip medicine balls like the ones Tracie Long uses in her workouts. My question:

Which size is best - 3lb or 4lb? I have a 6 lb, but it's too heavy for my Tracie workouts.

I generally use a 5 or 8 pounder for Tracey, so I'm going to say get a 4 pounder. The 2 pounds does make a difference, depending on the moves, so you don't want to go to low.

I've a 6lb soft medicine ball, so that's what I use for Tracie's workouts. I agree with Bubbles, I think the 4 pounder would be a great starting weight.

I recently did Tracie's Focus- Breakthrough workout since it's on youtube, and I just used a 5 pound dumbbell for it. I have a 4 pound medicine ball, but it is much larger than the one Tracie uses. I can't hold it in one hand, which made some of the moves a no go with my med ball. The dumbell worked fine for the workout, although a smaller squishy ball would be nice to have!
