I was so sad to see this in the news. My respect for Bob was huge, especially after I read how he'd been approached by big food companies wanting to buy him out and he turned the company over to his employees instead of selling out. RIP, Bob.

I don't know if anyone else will be familiar with his music, but Karl Wallinger of the bands the Waterboys and World Party has passed away at age 66.

Sherry, I wouldn't have known the name, but I know The Waterboys. DH and I used "The Whole of the Moon" as our cake-cutting song when we got married.

I didn't know him by his name, but I loved World Party's Goodbye Jumbo album. And a friend in high school often put Waterboy's tunes on his mix tapes for me.

It is a crap day for losing musicians-Eric Carmen of The Raspberries passed away. My husband Frank was a huge fan. Sigh.....

When the song came out, I thought it was called "Please Go Away." I was 9 years old and not listening closely to lyrics yet.
