After really enjoying the first two Little Beach Street Bakery books by Jenny Colgan, I picked up The Bookshop on the Corner at the library and it was just "meh" by comparison. I thought the main character did some really dumb things, and the ending didn't ring true. Her particular formula of "woman loses job and hustles to create a new life" is very soothing to me at the moment, though!
I downloaded the audiobook of The Giver via Overdrive last night for something to listen to while cooking dinner and am riveted. I'm not loving the narrator but the structure makes for a good listening experience so far.

Kate, I had the same feeling about the Jenny Colgan book. Hopefully her new one this summer will be better.
I am reading two British psychological suspense books: Friend Request-Laura Marshall The Daughter-Lucy Dawson Both are very absorbing so far. Sherry
