Actually "Rollerblade" is a brand of in-line skates - not a generic term for all in-line skates. (Forgive me, I just got out of a 2-hour trademark meeting at work!)

Good point, Joni! I hope everyone starts to take notice of that fact. The old fashion roller skates most of us grew up with are often called "Quads" these days, because of the 1,2,3,4, side by side, square configuration of the wheels. And the type of skates so many people call "Rollerblades" are really called Inline Skates, because the wheels are set straight in a line. (However, just as with "Quads" there are usually four wheels on each skate. The exceptions? Inline Speed skates have five wheels and often no brake. Some kids skates have 3 wheels, and brakes on both skates. )
