Old posts, the tag system, and #1 (Video Reviews) are the only things I care about (in that order of preference).

I haven't voted yet. Still thinking.

Like others, I support the decision of those working on the transition. They are the only ones who understand the work effort and cost.

Some thoughts I do have:

1. The "Lift and Shift" would also benefit from cutting unused resources. If you were to pull up this website as a newcomer now - it looks very dated and unused until you find your way to the General Discussions.

2. The new CMS may open up an opportunity for new review or cataloging categories. Maybe only 3 - 4 of the existing categories on the non-forum part of the website are transitioned and additional categories addressing "streaming site reviews" and "Youtube or free sites" could be added.

Just some thoughts.

This is the data I'd like to continue to manage somehow. That's my hope but not aware of the cost and work involved to maintain these, of course.

The other items ( like hall of Fame) would be nice to have archived in some way and not lost.

Oh yes, tags are helpful.

I honestly never thought the majority of current VF members were even aware of the other parts of VF besides the Forum and the Reviews. It's been many, many years since anything there has been updated. Not sure it would be worth doing whatever is required to save those sections.

If the team does decide to do away with those parts, I would like to pull some of the fitness trip photos for myself - for old times sake.

I didn't vote.

I’m not even sure how to find them! Whatever is easiest for those handling it is fine with me.

That was a trip down memory lane! I had forgotten about the Hall-of-Fame and Favourites sections. I think the Hall-of-Fame, while very dated now, just about nailed it for the videos in existence at that point in time.

I agree with other comments to go with the option that is easiest for all involved in the conversion.

I think it would so interesting to revive the interviews section. I wonder if any of the newer YouTube and streaming instructors would be willing to spare us some time. I would love to hear some thoughts from people such as Kat Gates, Chris Dorner, PJ Wren, Kaleigh Cohen and so on.

This sounds good to me too. I'm fine with "lift & shift".

I vote to keep it simple, “lift & shift”.
