The music stays kind of a bleak techno. It a good workout for days when you are in a snit and don't want anyone looking at or talking to you for a bit.

When you want the exact opposite of Leslie!

Alta, Thanks for the info. I'm thinking I can probably mute the yt video but play something else in the background. Maybe I would have to hear his cues the first time around, though.

He doesn't cue verbally, so you can use whatever music you like. He just sort of gestures the next move. It's fairly repetitive, so it isn't hard to follow.

Oh, I would go very light with this one the first time. I actually didn't use any weights. (I always skip weights the first time I do a workout.) I would not go over 1lb or your shoulders will be fried for a week.

Give it a whirl with the volume on. The first song is the darkest, but the rest is pretty darn good. It's genre is House/Trance type music. It works really well with the workout.

Ooh, I like the look of that Hamelin video! I've added it to my watch later queue. Thanks, Debbie! And thanks for the endorsement, Alta!

I love HeavyHands Walk Plus! so much that I did it on Friday and again this morning. (I've had the DVD for a while.)
If anyone is interested, I found a seller on Amazon that has one copy left. It's $6.00, with free shipping: HeavyHands Walk Plus DVD

I found this hilarious...from the very apt but unusual description "bleak techno", to the causal way you said "days when you are in a snit" as if that is a common occurrence in everyone's life. I chortled my way through previewing this video and many others by this instructor.

He reminds me of a male TA when he does cardio. No cueing and bouncy moves. I want to do his high impact cardio.

You're welcome! I hope you like it.

Vee, give him a try. He is an acquired taste, but his stuff is really good.

Question about Leslie's 3 Mile Power Walk. I read that the DVD of this workout had some glitches. Has it been re-released and the glitches corrected? Is this the series with the 3 Mile Power Walk? http://www.amazon.com/Leslie-Sansone...ile+power+walk

Does this one use the weights throughout? And how does it compare to the 3 Mile Power Walk? https://www.totalfitnessdvds.com/LES...DVD-p/2036.htm

I used to have the Kathy Smith Matrix Walk but don't remember much about it. How is the intensity compared to Leslie Sansone?

TIA!
