You're not the only one. I have frequently googled her name to see if, God forbid, that is the case. I wonder if she's active on Facebook? I just checked her FB account but since we're not friends there, I cannot tell if she's been posting.

I did a lot of googling last night, and I have done multiple times in the past. Nothing. No mention of her by family members either.

I've Googled too - both of Wendy's parents died within months of each other in late 2019, which is around the time she seems to have stopped visiting VF regularly. I've found recent references to her husband and relatively recent for her son (2022), but nothing for her.

It's a sad situation, but I have to assume Wendy has her reasons - we can never know what someone else might be going through.

ITA. I never get a positive feeling from these threads as they seem to attack Wendy personally—my interpretation, anyway. If and when she decides to post openly, I would hope that she would be treated kindly, but sadly I am not so sure that would happen.

Yes, she is alive, and hopefully finding some peace in her life.
