Lisa, I have had years of foot and back pain, although I never knew the actual reason why. One day I went into my local shoe store and they recommended Dansko shoes. My feet feel so much better since I started wearing the Dansko's. I am not sure of the PF issue though. I looked at the Dansko website and they have a few to offer, although they are not of the sleek and sexy variety, LOL. The Ryan and Risa look nice and if they are comfortable and you could wear them all day that would be a plus, LOL. DANSKO BOOT LINK HTH

They aren't cheap. I think mine were around $150 but they last forever. They are better than orthotics because they actually correct your arch and not merely keep it staying the same, which is what orthotics do.
I got two pairs, one black and one white, so I could wear them with sandals as well. During the winter when my sandals are packed away, I put one pair inside my slippers. I discovered this one morning when I woke up with a back ache and got the idea. It worked! Backache gone! Same thing happened when I woke up with my knees hurting. I think I really need a new bed! I just looked at their website www.goodfeet.com and it looks like they have some new products, so I will have to go back to check them out. It's very important to find a store that has a well trained fitter. That makes the difference. I spent nearly an hour with mine and she did all sorts of tests with different pairs, trying to push me over or pull me toward her, to see how my balance was affected. She even slid a business card under one foot and it made such a difference! Amazing. |
