squeaky rebounder

I love my rebounder but it is very noisy. I don't want to put oil on the springs because i'm afraid it will drip and ruin my carpet. I tried to find bouncewell.com on the web but the site isn't working.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for your help.

Vaseline seems to be the favorite for long lasting, squeak stopping with no drips!

I tried WD40, and it worked for a while, then tried silicone spray - it didn't do much, then one of the regulars on the rebounding check in said she used Vaseline with good results, so I tried that, and it seems to last longer, and is less messy than anything else.

How do you figure out exactly where it is squeaking...or do you equal opportunity Vaseline all the springs??

I put it where the springs hook onto the other metal parts - the ones on the frame and on the mat. I think the area where the spring meets the frame was the squeakiest, but figured I might as well smear it around on the other place, too.

I turned them some by hand when I was putting it on, to try and coat all the places where they meet.

Thanks Terri. For some bizarre reason I thought it was the coiled part of the spring that was squeaking! I'll try the Vaseline.

Mine squeaked until I took the feet/legs off and sprayed WD-40 in the sockets and then screwed them back on. I wiped it off after, and it doesn't drip or squeak. Mine doesn't have springs.
