For those in the Raleigh area, any luck finding your library? It's like it doesn't recognize that this area has a library system.

That's odd! Here we have both a city library system and a county library system.

It's not like you live in Siberia!

I know! It's not a huge city, but it's not small either. I love the idea. Maybe it will expand.

ddj - thanks for the link! I had no idea that Kanopy was so expensive for libraries.

It's expensive, but it's a valuable service to library patrons, as is Hoopla. My library system provides access to both. It also has a strong commitment to providing access to DVDs, Blu-ray, vinyl LPs, and CDs and has a department with librarians and support staff for the collection. You would probably be a regular checker-outer of their curated DVD/Blu-ray binge boxes!

Our libraries have the binge box/bags too! And I'm always amazed at the number of copies of new release DVDs and Blurays that our library orders. I'm pretty near the top of the queue for Dune Part 2 whenever that comes out on DVD & Bluray. But the wait is not too long even if you're further down the queue because they usually order so many copies of the big releases.

For awhile our library gave patrons free 2-week online access to acorntv. And when your 2 weeks was up, you could just start up another 2 weeks. I forget when they ended that program but it was running in 2020 and 2021 at least.

It sure is, Dede. Thanks so much. That explains it well. I followed the link on the page to the resources they do provide and will peruse that list. You learn new things every day!
