AMD - wow, I had forgotten about my many fitness purchases, ie Cathe’s new workouts & LMOD 1yr subscription. I never think of new Cathe workouts as a fitness purchase. I keep forgetting to use LMOD, it doesn’t blend that well with my current XTRAIN rotation. I’m looking forward to doing more LMOD in 2024. I actually like the music in the Beach Body Les Mills Combat workouts more than the LMOD workouts. BB has original artists music with choreography that is perfect with the music. I don’t always like the music that is used in LMOD Body Combat. Ugh! And some of the LMOD talent are annoying, lol. They talk too much! Plus Rach & Dan rarely lead the whole workout, they are more background and I want Dan & Rach front and center. I did like the Sh’bam and step workouts so… anyway, I plan to get my money’s worth in 2024. lol.

I never used the new post feature either. I could still search for things through Google so that wasn’t a big issue either. I’d like to see more new users and a reliable VF.

I was at Aldi’s yesterday; they have a nice variety of planners available.

I hope everyone had a good Christmas! Thanks for the well wishes. It's been almost 2 weeks but I think DH and I will live. I hope everyone else who was sick has recovered. I still haven't worked out and I have never had virgin Cathe workouts this long. I think I better plan a recovery rotation before I dive into those. The good news is I have started back line dancing. We have a major line dance event that we have been planning to attend. It's a Friday & Saturday event held in the middle of January. We have been trying to learn all of these new line dances for the last 4 months.

I also have had some issues posting and logging into VF. It's a little scary when it happens.

Wow, sounds like LMOD changed a lot since I subscribed a few years ago...and maybe not for the better! D & R probably don't want to be together now and front & center any longer. Well that stinks! I'll be re-thinking ever subscribing again. ETA: I hope you find something on the site that you can enjoy, though./I got over to Aldi's today (thanks for the mention!) and checked out their planners. They weren't near as nice as previous years and didn't have any room to write for all my workout verboseness, LOL, so I'm glad I bought the one at Walmart. They also had lots of fitness equipment at mine - even a bike! But an inexpensive and chintzy one at that. Their adjustable weights looked pretty good though and had some smaller poundages of KB's. Nothing I needed--but I checked it all out, LOL!

Tammie, glad you guys are feeling better. Cathe's workouts will be there when you're ready. If you're taking line dancing classes, your endurance level should be fine for Cathe's workouts.

Thanks for the encouragement. I did Cathe's Total Body Barbell today. I did have to take a couple of congestion breaks but I completed it!

Happy New Year to all!

I'm on a road trip visiting Mom, and between that and VF log-in issues I hadn't checked in for a while. I'm hoping that the VF site will continue! I found VF in grad school over 20 years ago. Until recently, I'd been away for several years (mostly, life was crazy and I reduced my time online) and it just never crossed my mind that VF could cease to exist. I've signed up at the alternative sites but I haven't posted yet except to say "hi."

Tammie - So sorry that you were sick during the holidays, and also that you couldn't do your new DVDs right away! I'm glad that you and ASAS are feeling better now.

Helen - Your comment about yoga made me smile because I felt exactly the same when I started practicing over 20 years ago. At the time, I was doing mostly Cathe, FIRM, Creative Instructors Aerobics, etc. and I wanted to do yoga for stress relief and to improve flexibility. I got started by doing very easy practices in addition to my workouts or on rest days, at most a few days a week. When I started, I did not expect to do any more than that - but here I am.

Oooohhhh.... your comment gives me SO much optimism, as those are my kind of workouts you were doing - Cathe & CIA especially, and I SO fancy feeling like I'm a "yogini", doing headstands, crow pose, .... at the moment, warrior 3, a steady tree & half-moon are about as fancy as I get, & looking forward to being able to do things much better when this BELLY gets itself out of the way.
