There is another older Denise Austin DVD called Hot Body Yoga that has two workouts on it. One is the standard sun salutations and so on, but the other one does yoga with light weights and includes biceps curls and things like that. I really like it and wish there were more workouts like that one.

Yes, Joni that is the Power Yoga workout!!! I don’t do the Pilates workout. I previewed it once but I have to force myself to do Pilates and prefer her standing pilates workout on Power Zone: Mind, Body, and Soul.

Bfit- Hot Body Yoga actually doesn’t have sun salutations but you are right that the first workout is her most traditional yoga. I find the first workout a bit boring as I prefer her fusion style. The second workout with light weights is good but I didn’t mention because they said they were looking for Bodyweight. But, I have done the second workout without weights using isometric holds for upper body. If you like Yoga Sculpt, you would probably like Yoga Booty Lift as that has a bonus arm workout with weights using the same yoga format.

I also highly recommend Dean Pohlman's ManFlowYoga. In my workout schedule, I consider it as "bodyweight strength training to get better at yoga".

If you do Jessica Smith workouts, and like her newer workouts and/or her Fusion ones with the emphasis on accessory/stabilizing muscles, you may like Dean's style.

Thanks to all! Passing all this on and letting her decide. There is enough variety in the suggestions for her to jump right in.

As usual, VF to rescue!

Wishing you a very happy, healthy, fit and prosperous new year!!!
