I can get a good cardio workout on it, as long as it's just continuous movement. I do a lot more side to side bouncing on this than on previous rebounders because I have the space. But you can't do intense up-and-down rapid bouncing/jumping on it. The mat isn't nearly as tight as some other rebounders, so it's definitely for a more gentle workout. You definitely aren't going to be able to do something like the URX-MT workouts on it. Basically, you need to keep your feet (or at least one foot at a time) connected to the mat most of the time. You can use the bar for leverage if you want to get some more height or a little more air between you and the mat. It works really well with Suzanne Bowen's Barre Amped Bounce DVD.
ETA: I find it's good for bounce-dancing, lol! Just put on some music and move around. There's a lot of space so you can pretty much do whatever you want!

If anyone is looking for this and knws a cheaper way to ship, I have it with the DVDs. I don't know how to trade it or ask for shipping tho as it is probably outrageous, but if the OP or anyone is in AL, something might could be negotiated or if anyone knows how to ship something this enormous? (I have never shipped anything large). I wish I could use it and love Bernadette, but i have an ankle, that with my particular issue, is made worse by bouncing instead of better, sadly. If anything can be done with it, let me know. I hated having to put it away.
ETA: Just realized this is an old thread. I apologize.
