Bootlegs suck!
I stumbled into this site:
p90x2dvdsets (dot) com (trying to make this link unclickable so they don't get any Google juice from me). Oh! Here's another one: your-bodyfitness (dot) com
Imagine... the entire set for only, what? $75? And it looks EXACTLY like what you get from Beachbody. No tax! Shipping worldwide! 90 Day guarantee!
Look up the whois for these sites, and surprise...both based in Shanghai.
Look around a little more and you'll find sites like these selling Cathe, Jillian, you name it. This is why I will never buy fitness DVDs from anybody other than than the original content provider. (Sometimes these sites claim to be authorized resellers, too, so even that is iffy.)
Is it even possible to keep bootleggers from ripping off content? I don't think so, and it's really changed my buying habits. I used to trade, I used to buy off eBay, but no more.
I just wanted to rant!
DVD trading used to be fun and exciting, and so was getting a deal off eBay. Now I'm just worried, "Where did they get the DVD?"
