Barre After Foot Injury

I wrote last week about problems coming back from a broken foot. Thanks everyone for your support! If you remember my doctor had said I couldn't do barre any more. Today I asked the physical therapist about it, and he also said barre is out for me. Apparently, the problem is standing with my weight on the ball of my foot. It puts too much stress on the bones there. A good portion of the exercises in my barre classes had you standing on the balls of your feet with your knees bent and your legs in various positions like squat and plie. I don't know how I could duplicate those exercises with my feet flat. I can't ask anyone at the studio now because it's closed due to covid, and they are just having Zoom classes (which I haven't been doing). Does anyone know?
