Ok, who's got the new Cathe's???

I need reviews.
Mine won't get here until Friday, at the earliest so start telling me all about the new Cathe workouts!

I just got them yesterday. So far I’ve only previewed Killer Legs. It’s a nice mix of heavier and moderate weights. She threw in some exercises that make you activate your core too (which I need!) Overall impression is I like it a lot! It’s various squats, deadlifts, lunges which are my favorite lower body exercises. No step ups or Bulgarian lunges (yay, lol!) so the only equipment for the main program are just dumbbells.

In the Barre bonus they are using one of the Cathe dip bars but you can use a chair or Cathe tower. She also uses one of the small Cathe balls (non-weighted) and a light firewalker band. It’s all standing work where you place the ball in the crook of your knee for a few exercises then remove it and put the band around your ankles for more exercises. It looks like a good add on or a quick workout when you’re short on time.

I did the kickboxing one and enjoyed it. I kept it low impact. I like kicking and this one had quite a bit so it was a hit for me.

Mine arrived on Wednesday. I tried the Kickbox and felt it was just ok. I don’t have weighted gloves so it probably feels different with them. The music was good but I felt like the combinations were basic and not very creative. However, Cathe probably kept them easy to follow since she was wearing the gloves. I liked that it was around 45 minutes as this is my sweet spot.

Today I did Cycle Power. I don’t have a spin bike so I do her cycle workouts on the treadmill. I liked this one. It felt similar to Cycle Sweat. It’s got techno music with a good beat. Cathe talks quite consistently through the workout giving encouragement and form pointers. The length was around 45 minutes which is perfect for me.
