OFF TOPIC: Boots for Plantar Fasciitis folks

Ladies,

I am in the market for a hot pair of knee-high boots- but every one I try on is ridiculously uncomfortable.

Do any of you out there who have feet that get tired and achy know of any brands that make comfortable yet stylish boots? (I have plantar fasciitis and walk alot at work so need comfortable shoes).

Any advice appreciated.

Lisa

Sorry, no specific suggestions. I buy boots that I can put my orthotic/insert for PF in and wear those. Without the insert, I'd be in pain.

Lisa, I have had years of foot and back pain, although I never knew the actual reason why. One day I went into my local shoe store and they recommended Dansko shoes. My feet feel so much better since I started wearing the Dansko's. I am not sure of the PF issue though. I looked at the Dansko website and they have a few to offer, although they are not of the sleek and sexy variety, LOL. The Ryan and Risa look nice and if they are comfortable and you could wear them all day that would be a plus, LOL. DANSKO BOOT LINK HTH

thanks!

Thanks for your replies, ladies!

I love Dansko too- I have never seen the knee length boot. I'm sold (sound of credit card swiping!)

I haven't had tall Dansko boots, but I have a lot of their shoes and they're great for PF!

I have some mid-calf Merrell boots that work well for me, too.

I put my Good Feet arch supports in all my shoes and boots, even my slippers. I can't live without them. Sometimes I put metatarsal pads under them if the shoes have high heels. I've had my Good Feet for two years and was quite pleased to hear Jillian Michaels promoting them on her radio show, saying she wears them.

Where do you get Good Feet arch supports? Are they sold with shoe insert products at the drugstore, or are they more specialized? TIA!
