Thanks difit!

Ha! I read this a million years ago along with other books by A Trigiani and really enjoyed it. I *just* started Viola in Reel Life after stumbling on her available books on my library site. I'm enjoying it some but it's such a stark change after the Stephen King bender I've been on I'm not sure I'll stick with it.

Love seeing what everyone's reading!

I just finished Lauren Graham’s Have I Told You This Already? I enjoyed it very much. It’s a quick read and she shares interesting anecdotes from inside Hollywood. It was also nice to read something light.

Between work and classes, I haven't been able to get to the library in a couple weeks so I've been working my way through the pile of books I bought at garage sales this past summer. There were three that I couldn't get beyond chapter one so I won't even bother mentioning them. Ones I did make it through are The Best of Enemies by Jen Lancaster, Mean Streak by Sandra Brown, The Petting Zoo by Jim Carroll, and I'm almost finished with Pretty Baby by Mary Kubica.

I finished Act of Oblivion by Robert Harris, which I really enjoyed and now I'm reading North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell, which I'm enjoying even more.

I finished We Were the Lucky Ones by Georgia Hunter. This was an absorbing WWII novel about a family in Poland.

Now, I'm reading The Opportunist by Elyse Friedman and The Last Invitation by Darby Kane. I usually don't read two of the same type of book at the same time, but I seem to have mainly thrillers/mysteries in the stack from the library.

Just finished A Court of Thorns and Roses and OMG it was so good! I will be reading the rest of the series cause if they are half as good as this book, I'll be happy.

I'm reading Rena's Promise: A Story of Sisters in Auschwitz. So sad.

I'm probably a little more than halfway through Lessons in Chemistry, and there have been some LOL moments.
